Notes:

In 1837 the copyrights to the composition were transfered to M. Schlesinger. Simultaneously with a new version for violoncello and piano the publishing house also printed the version for the piano solo and for the piano for four hands. In M. Schlesinger's publishing advertisement in Revue et Gazette Musicale No. 35 from 22nd of August 1837 he mentioned both versions, but the plate numbers of both versions do not confirm that. The original version is marked with the number M. S. 2447, matching the exact time of Schlesinger's advertisement. However, the piano version, entitled as 1RE Polonaise Brillante avez Introduction pour piano has a different plate number: M. S. 3729, more likely to come from the second half of 1842.
