Kałduński Adam

Adam Kałduński is a 22-year old pianist. He began studying piano at the age of 7 with Mariusz Trzebniak at the Music School in Gdańsk. Since 2015, he is continuing his education in the class of Prof. Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń and Prof. Jerzy Sulikowski at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

His artistic achievements include several prizes at international piano competitions in Szafarnia, Konin, Augustów, Warsaw, also in Germany and Belarus. Lately, he received a Chopin Prize at the "Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam" Piano Competition for Young Pianists in Bydgoszcz (2017). He has been invitated frequently by National Chopin Institute to give Chopin Recitals. He has attended piano masterclasses with such professors as Nikolai Demidenko, Tamàs Ungar, Kevin Kenner, Tobias Koch, Dina Yoffe, Uta Weyand and others.

Adam has twice been awarded a scholarship for best students by Rector of the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music. He also received grants from the Prime Minister of Poland, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Marshal of Pomeranian Voivodeship, the Mayor of the city of Gdańsk, the Polish Children's Fund.
