Polish organist, pedagogue and composer. In 1972 he finished studies at the High School of Music in Warsaw with Feliks Rączkowski (organs). Between 1969 and 1974 he studied also composition with Tadeusz Paciorkiewicz. In 1972 he took part in master classes in Belgium and received a special prize in the International Competition of Organ Improvisation in Cologne.

He gave concerts in nearly all European countries and also in Izrael, USA, Canada, Australia and Japan. He made many recordings for the radio and television in Poland and abroad. He has in his repertoire baroque and romantic music and also transcriptions of the Works of Vivaldi, Saint-Saëns, Musorgski and Dukas.

He is a respected pedagogue. Since 1972 he is the headmaster of the organ class at the Music Academy in Warsaw. Since 1991 he teaches also in Wrocław and since 2004 in Poznań. He is the artistic director of 7 international festivals of the organ music in Wrocław, Jelenia Góra, Legnica, Kluczborg.
