Bass. Born in 1988, in Tarnów, he studied in the class of Włodzimierz Zalewski at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. From the age of eight, he sang in Tarnów cathedral choir, Pueri Cantores Tarnoviensis, run by Andrzej Zając. For three years, he was a member of the Theatre Initiatives Support Association, as an actor, scriptwriter and co-composer of music for numerous shows for children and youngsters. He is one of the minds behind the Concentus male ensemble, performing Renaissance polyphony and music of the early Baroque. As a soloist, he has performed at home and abroad. An important place in his artistic work is held by chamber music, in particular the output of Franz Schubert and other Romantic composers. For five years, he has worked regularly with pianist Jolanta Pawlik. While still a student, he made his debut at the Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera in Warsaw as Spock in a production of Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream. In 2014, he sang the role of Collatinus in Britten's The Rape of Lucretia at a theatre festival in Miskolc (Hungary) and appeared at the Polish National Opera in Zwycięstwo nad słońcem [Victory over the sun], as part of the ‘Projekt P' (dir. Krzysztof Garbaczewski). In 2015, he performed in Paweł Mykietyn's The Magic Mountain (dir. Andrzej Chyra) at the Malta Festival in Poznań. He works with many Polish and foreign ensembles, including Capella Cracoviensis, Collegium 1704 and the Cracow Singers. He is a laureate of vocal competitions, including the 10th Edmund Kossowski Polish Art Song Competition for Students and the 3rd International Giulio Perotti Singing Competition in Ueckermünde (Germany). 2016 saw the release of his debut disc, featuring songs by Moniuszko, recorded with Jolanta Pawlik.
