Tatiana Pikayzen – 6th Prize winner, 11th International Frederic Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (1985). Tatiana Pikayzen’s father Victor was a famous violinist. She learned piano at the Central Special Music School at the Moscow Conservatoire (1966–1977), and later at the Moscow Conservatoire with Tatiana Nikolayeva. She graduated with honours on 17th June 1982.

Ms. Pikayzen came 6th at the Chopin Competition in Warsaw in 1985. She performed in the Soviet Union as a soloist and chamber performer. She also went on several tours with her father.
