Bozena Schmid-Adamczyk is a Swiss musicologist born in Poland. Ph.D.in Musicology from the University of Strasbourg, she was selected by Professor Marc Honegger to research autograph manuscripts and musical sources. Amongst her musical research an exceptional finding has been the discovery of an unpublished autograph manuscript by Frederic Chopin, named: "Lento con gran espresssione", a Nocturne that uses polymetric techniques. 
Dr Bozena Schmid-Adamczyk currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland, and is also the curator of the Frederic Chopin and George Sand Museum in Valldemossa, Mallorca, and a member of the Chopin Festival Committee in Valldemossa.
Dr Bozena Schmid-Adamczyk regularly organizes concerts in Switzerland, Poland and Spain.  She is also a member of the Société Historique et Litteraire in Paris, an active member of the Club Diplomatique de Genève, a member of the Conciliation Board of International Federation of Chopin Societies and presides the Cultural Organization ,"Musica Pro Pace" in Geneva. Dr Bozena Schmid-Adamczyk is also the author of numerous publications on life and works of Chopin.
