Delfina Potocka - muse of Polish Romanticism. Chopin's student and friend. They probably met in Dresden in 1830. In 1832 Chopin became Delfina's teacher in Paris. According to opinions of her contemporaries, Potocka was a talented composer. Her works did not remain.

Delfina Potocka watched over Chopin when he was dying. At his request she sang for him. In 1945 Paulina Czernicka, a Lithuanian landlady, disclosed unknown Chopin's letters to Potocka, suggesting that they had an affair. Criminological research of Citizen Police proved that these letters was counterfeit.
