Recipient of a distinction in the XVII International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition (2015). 

Born on 2 June 1989, in Zagreb, he studied with Eliso Virsaladze at the Scuolo di Musica in Fiesola (2011–2014) and is now preparing his concert diploma under the guidance of Grigory Gruzman at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar. He has won the 16th Robert Schumann Competition in Zwickau (2012) and competitions organised in Italy: the Spazio Teatro 89 − Encore! Shura Cherkassky Competition in Milan, the Luciano Luciani Competition in Cosenza and a competition in Massarosa. Thus he won the Grand Prix in all four competitions affiliated to the Alink-Argerich Foundation which he entered. He has also received the Best Young Musician award from the Zagreb Philharmonic. Since his debut in London (2007), he has performed in recitals and concerts in many countries, including in the festivals ‘Piano Fortissimo’ (Zagreb) and ‘Split Summer’ in Croatia, the ‘Summer Music Evenings’ in Kiev, ‘From Easter to Ascension’ in Tbilisi, the Chopin Festival in Nohant, ‘Serate Musicali’ in Milan and ‘Festival Puccini’ in Torre del Lago. In February this year, he debuted with a recital at Carnegie Hall.
