Chopin and his Europe
The International Music Festival Chopin and his Europe was established in 2005 and was immediately recognised as a major artistic event.
During the first three years of its existence the Festival managed to find its place among the most important events, which play the leading role in promoting Polish culture abroad. The main purpose of the Festival is to present the music of Fryderyk Chopin in a broad cultural context, indicating the varied inspirations of his ingenious style, as well as his relations with other 19th century composers, artists of later generations and a general presentation of European music from the 18th century till the present day.
