As part of celebrations of the 168th anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin's death, on 17th October at the Holy Cross Basilica in Warsaw, we will hear Mozart's Requiem. You are cordially invited!

As every year on 17th October, The Fryderyk Chopin Institute invites you to a concert to mark the anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin's death. Its program alludes to the composer's funeral ceremony, which took place at St. Magdalene's Church in Paris on 30 October 1849, and during which - according to his wishes - Mozart's Requiem was heard.

As in previous years, this year as well we will hear the Requiem in the interior of the Holy Cross Basilica, in the place where the composer's heart is laid to rest.
