Michał Dziewior

A student of Wojciech Świtała at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. He has participated in masterclasses given by such teachers as Andrzej Jasiński, Józef Stompel, Bernd Goetzke, Nikolai Demidenko, Yves Henry, Tobias Koch, Anna Malikova.  His major achievements include First Prize in the All-Poland Auditions for Pupils of Music Secondary Schools in Warsaw (2012), Third Prize in the 1st All-Poland Chopin Competition for children and youngsters in Warsaw (2012), Third Prize in the 9th ‘Youngsters Interpret Chopin' festival in Konin (2012). In 2015 he became laureate of 49th Festival of Polish Piano Music in Słupsk, in 2016 he got the Fourth Prize in the All-Poland Chopin Piano Competition in Katowice. He was awarded a grant by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in 2012. He has given recitals in Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw, in concert hall of  Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, in Łazienki Królewskie in Warsaw, in Fryderyk Chopin's Birthplace in Żelazowa Wola. He has performed in concert with the Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra, Podkarpacka Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2015 he performed in Berlin Philharmony with Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin. In 2016 he played a recital during 50th ‘Nohant Festival Chopin' in France.
