Daniia Khaibullina

The pianist was born in Semipalatinsk, Kazakhstan. On graduating from the Novosibirsk Music College (where she studied with Svetlana Pudovkina), she was admitted to the studio of Honored Artist of Russia Professor Mary Lebenzon at the Novosibirsk Conservatory. Khaibullina is a laureate of the Russian national Kabalevsky Competition for Young Musicians in Samara, 2008 (2nd Prize); the 5th Artobolevsky International Piano Competition in Moscow, 2009 (1st Prize); and the 26th International Piano Competition organized by the Chopin Association of Rome in 2016 (2nd Prize).  At the Delphic Games of the CIS States, she won two gold medals (Astana, Kazakhstan 2012; Oryol 2015); and at the Russian Delphic Games, a gold and a silver medal (Oryol, 2015; Tyumen, 2016). Moreover, the pianist has received the President of the Russian Federation's Prize for Talented Young People.  She holds scholarships from the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, the Mayor of Novosibirsk, Vadim Repin, Yuri Rozum Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Science. In November 2015, Daniia Khaibullina was awarded the Future of Novosibirsk distinction for her outstanding talent. She has collaborated with the Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Samara, Tyumen and Oryol Philharmonic Orchestras.
