Master Course for Young Pianists in Radziejowice Master Course for Young Pianists in Radziejowice

The Fryderyk Chopin Institute, in collaboration with the Artists’ House in Radziejowice, is organizing the 5th International Master Course for Young Pianists, which will take place from 14 to 23 August 2017 at the Palace in Radziejowice. The course is dedicated to pupils and students, as well as graduates of music schools and conservatories, especially for those who are interested in performance on period instruments.

Master classes will be led by distinguished artists and internationally renowned professors, such as Alexei LubimovAndreas Staier i Tobias Koch on period instruments, as well as Nikolai Demidenko and Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń on modern instruments. During the course additional meetings, seminars and concerts prepared especially for the pianists will also take place.

The young pianists will have an unique opportunity to perfect their skills in playing pianos from Chopin’s period as part of preparations for the 1st International Chopin Piano Competition on period instruments in 2018.

Each lesson lasts 60 minutes. The payment for the masterclass lessons is 180 EUR, whilst the payment for food and board at Radziejowice Palace is 180 EUR (optional).
