6th International Master Course for Young Pianists 6th International Master Course for Young Pianists

The Fryderyk Chopin Institute, in collaboration with the Artists’ House in Radziejowice, is organizing the 6th International Master Course for Young Pianists, which will take place from 10 to 22 August 2018 at the Palace in Radziejowice. The course is dedicated to pupils, students and graduates of music schools and conservatories, as well as to all pianists interested in performance on period instruments, especially those who plan to take part in the 1st International Chopin Competition on Period Instruments.

This year, for the first time, the Course will be divided into two separate sessions: period (10–15 August) and modern (15–22 August). As has now become a tradition, the young pianists will have the opportunity to work under the tutelage of eminent artists and recognized pedagogical authorities. The master classes during the session on period pianos will be led by Kristian Bezuidenhout, Nikolai Demidenko, Alexei Lubimov and Tobias Koch. The session on modern pianos will be led by Nikolai Demidenko, Akiko Ebi and Krzysztof Jabłoński. It is also possible to take part in both sessions. As in previous editions, additional meetings, seminars and concerts prepared especially for the pianists will also take place during the Course.
