On Friday, May 16, two renowned architects, Christine Dalnoky and Michel
Desvigne visited Chopin's birth house in Żelazowa Wola and the St. John
the Baptist Church in Brochów.
This trip was part of their visit to Poland at the invitation of the
Adam Mickiewicz Institute. The main purpose of the visit was to present
their works - 'Contemporary Parks and Gardens' - in the lecture theatre
of the Library of Warsaw University and at the Jagiellonian University
in Krakow.
Throughout the world Christine Dalnoky and Michel Desvigne have realised
a number of projects in close co-operation with Renzo Piano, Norman
Foster, Jean Nouvel, Bernard Tschumi, Aurelio Galfetti and Pierre Herzog &
Jacques De Meuron.
