The Fryderyk Chopin Institute presents a series of multimedia applications. The first application to be prepared was a Warsaw guide to places associated with Witold Lutosławski, in connection with Lutosławski Year 2013. The second application was produced for the bicentenary of the birth of Oskar Kolberg, and it acquaints the user with places linked to the life and work of that exceptional ethnographer and folklore scholar. The Institute also prepared a ‘Chopin Competition’ application, providing access to a treasure trove of material connected with the competition. The fruit of many years’ research by Mieczysław Tomaszewski into the life and work of Chopin was the multimedia lexicon ‘Fryderyk Chopin. Life of the creator’ – a remarkable source of knowledge about the Polish composer.
