Among the Institute's activities aiming to support the artistic development of young and talented pianists is the provision of instrument resources necessary for their daily practice.
A Yamaha C3X grand piano was funded for The Fryderyk Chopin Institute by Cezary Kozanecki in 2014. On 16 October 2014, in the presence of the Sponsor and the Institute's management, the instrument was placed in the hands of Andrzej Wierciński - a young pianist who for the past year has been able to use it to perfect his piano-playing skills.
Another pianist selected as part of the Young Talents promotion program who gained access to the instrument is Tymoteusz Bies. For the next few months, the two musicians will share use of the piano to develop their musical talent.
