Annie Fischer - Hungarian pianist. She studied at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest with Arnold Szekely and Ernő Dohnányi.

She debuted et the age of 10, playing Beethoven's I piano concert, two years later she played Mozart's piano concert in A major (KV 488) and piano concert of Schumann with Tonhalle Orchestra in Zurich. In 1933 she won the International Liszt Competition in Budapest, playing Sonate in B flat minor of Franz Liszt.

At the beginning of the II World War Fischer went to Sweden. She came back to Budapest in 1946. In 1961 she debuted in America.

Fischer realised study and concert recordings with Otto Klemperer and Wolfgang Sawallisch. Her biggest success is the CD with all piano sonatas of Beethoven. This recording was released after pianist's death.
