Teresa Wodzińska

Teresa Wodzińska - wife of Wincenty Szymon Wodziński (*1784 Sułkowo †28 V 1849 Służewo). Mother of three daughters: Maria (*7 I 1819 Warszawa, †7 XII 1896 Kłóbka near Włocławek), Józefa (*ok. 1820 †1905 Warszawa), and Teresa (*1831 Berlin †1867), and three sons: Antoni (*c. 1812 †1847), Feliks (*20 XI 1814 Warsaw †29 XI 1870) and Kazimierz (*c. 1817 †c. 1875). Antoni and Kazimierz were pupils of the Warsaw Liceum and they have been living with the Chopin family for one year.

In 1830 brothers Antoni and Feliks took part in the November Uprising. Next year the family had to take refuge in a manor in Sułkowo and afterwards they went to Berlin and finally settled down in Geneve, where they lived between 1832 and 1835. In September 1835 on the way to Warsaw, the Wodziński family met with Chopin in Drezno.
