Musicologist, music critic, founder of the periodical 'Res Facta'. He studied medicine in Lviv, Bologne and Warsaw, and morover also attended piano lessons with Guiseppe Piccioli in Bologne and Jerzy Lefeld in Warsaw. Between 1948 and 1953 he studied also musicology at the Warsaw University and additionally at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome and Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in Paris.

He worked in the Institut für die Wissenschaften von Menschen in Vienna, Universities in Warsaw, Krakow, Poznań, Palermo, Arcavacata di Rende, Macerata-Fermo University, also took part in many scientific conferences in Poland and abroad (organised many Polish-Italian musicological conferences).

Well known as a writer and music critic. Worked for Przegląd Kulturalny, Res Facta i Res Facta Nova and De musica (internet periodical).
