Beata Bilińska

Beata Bilińska - one of the leading Polish pianists. She has been an active concert pianist for 16 years. She has given symphonic concerts, solo piano recitals and chamber music concert in Poland and abroad i.a. in Austria, Argentina, France, Ireland, Japan, Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden, USA and Italy.  

In 1996 she completed piano studies at the Szymanowski Academy of Music with prof. Andrzej Jasiński. Afterwords she worked as prof. Jasiński's assistant for 6 years and she still teaches at the Szymanowski Academy. She continued her studies in Berlin in Hochschule der Kunste with prof. Klaus Hellwiga. She took part in a number of mater classes with such artists as Lee Kum Sing and John Perry. She consulted also Kristian Zimerman.

She in a laureate of many Polish and international piano competitions and scholarships i.a. the Fryderyk Chopin Society in Warsaw, Ministry of Culture.

In 2003 she made her USA debut in the famous Carnegie Hall in New York.

She recorded Penderecki's Piano Concerto "Resurrection" - the album was awarded many prestigious prizes. In August 2008, together with The Silesia Quartet, she recorded an album with chamber music of Aleksander Tansman.
