A young Polish pianist who graduated with honours from the piano class of Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń and the symphonic-operatic conducting class of Zygmunt Rychert at Bydgoszcz Academy of Music. He honed his pianistic skills with Eldar Nebolsin at the Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik in Berlin. He is now a research and teaching assistant at the music academies in Bydgoszcz and Łódź. He is a laureate of many national and international piano competitions, including the Chopin Competition in Darmstadt (2017), MozARTe Mozart Competition in Aachen (2016), Chopin Competition in Daegu, South Korea (2015), Juliusz Zarębski Competition in Warsaw (2012), Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe scholarship competition in Katowice (2011), Ignacy Jan Paderewski Competition in Bydgoszcz (2010), Vladimir Horowitz Memorial in Kiev (2007) and All-Poland Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (2008, 2015). He has performed in Europe, Asia, the US, Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela, at such venues as the UN Palace of Nations in Geneva, the Paul VI Audience Hall at the Vatican (concert for Benedict XVI), the Belvedere in Warsaw (for President Bronisław Komorowski) and many philharmonic halls around the world. He has been a guest of festivals in Poland and abroad, including the Oficina de Música in Curitiba (Brazil), Chopiniana in Buenos Aires, Festival Europeo de Solistas in Caracas, Festival Pianistico in Rome, Long Lake Festival in Lugano and ‘Chopin and his Europe’ (three times). Besides his solo repertoire, he also performs chamber music, appearing with the Silesian Quartet, Erzhan Kulibaev, Romain Garioud, Benedict Kloeckner, Anna Maria Staśkiewicz and Maria Machowska. He has recorded two discs for CD Accord featuring works by Chopin, Paderewski, Szymanowski and Józef Wieniawski.
