Mezzo-soprano. In 2009, she graduated in vocal performance from the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. She made her opera debut as Alisa in Lucia di Lammermoor at the Ente Luglio Musicale in Trapani (2003). She first performed in Donizetti’s Anna Bolena as Smeton in a production prepared by Fabio Biondi and Europa Galante at the Rieti festival (Italy). She has also performed in such festivals as the Tage Alte Musik in Regensburg, Stuttgart Barok Festival and MITO Settembre Musica in Milan, where she made her debut as Nerone in L’incoronazione di Poppea. She has performed in concert at such venues as the Auditorium Joseph Haydn in Bolzano, Teatro Verdi in Milan, Trento Philharmonic, Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Yerevan National Theatre, Teatro Duse in Bologna and New York City Center Theater. She played the titular role in Dimitro Scarlato’s contemporary opera Fadwa, given its world premiere in 2013 at the Teatro Olimpico in Rome. A year later, she took part in a recording of Caldara’s oratorio Morte e Sepoltura di Cristo, conducted by Fabio Biondi (Glossa). That same year, she was runner-up in the Premio Etta Limiti international competition in Milan. In the 2015/2016 season, she made her debut at the Royal Opera House in London and the Royal Opera House in Muscat (Oman). In March 2016, at the ‘Misteria Paschalia’ Festival in Cracow, she sang a part in Michele Falco’s Oratorio di Santo Antonio. She has recently appeared in such operas as Anna Bolena (Parma, Milan), Rossini’s Tancredi (Valencia) and Mascagni’s Cavalleria rusticana (London), and made her debut as Gemma in the world premiere of Marco Tutino’s Miseria e Nobiltà (Genoa). She is one of the young talents supported by the Pavarotti Foundation.
