Joshua Bell is one of the most popular contemporary violinists  in the world. In 2009/2010 season he released At Home with Friends for Sony Classical with artists such as Chris Botti, Sting, Josh Groban, Kristin Chenoweth, Regina Spektor.

When he was twelve, he received his first instrument and he studied with Josef Gingold. Two years later he made his debut with Riccardo Muti and Philadelphia Orchestra.

Joshua Bell recorded 35 albums and was awarded numerous prizes as Mercury, Grammy, the Gramophone and Echo Klassik. He also participated in working on the awarded sundtrack of the "Purple Violin".

In 2005 he was invited to Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame and received the Avery Fisher Award. In 2010 he was chosen the Instrumentalist of the Year by "Musical America".

His most important performances of this season will be on festivals The Hollywood Bowl, Verbier, Tuscan Sun, Mostly Mozart, Salzburg, Tanglewood, Menuhin, Gstaad and Enescu, BBC Proms in Royal Albert Hall, the Hubermann Festival.

 Joshua Bell plays the famous violin Gibson ex Huberman Stradivarius from 1713 .
