Located 54 kilometers from Warsaw, Żelazowa Wola is visited in great numbers by tourists and music lovers from Poland and abroad. It is here that Fryderyk Chopin was born; also to be found here is the Fryderyk Chopin Birthplace park and museum, which is the venue of a concert series initiated in 1954 by Prof. Zbigniew Drzewiecki, a distinguished Polish pianist and pedagogue.
On Saturdays from May to September, the Institute invites you to a series of recitals, featuring talented young pianists. The recitals take place at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM. The young artists perform repertoire consisting only of works by Fryderyk Chopin.
