Located 54 kilometers from Warsaw, Żelazowa Wola is visited in great numbers by tourists and music lovers from Poland and abroad. It is here that Fryderyk Chopin was born; also to be found here is the Fryderyk Chopin Birthplace park and museum, which is the venue of a concert series initiated in 1954 by Prof. Zbigniew Drzewiecki, a distinguished Polish pianist and pedagogue.

A new cycle of Chopin recitals accompanying Polish national holidays (1 and 3 May, 20 June and 15 August). The first of the recitals at 12:00 takes place on a historical piano, Erard from 1838.
